Make Address Optional on Standard Donation Form

Please consider making the address field configurable on the standard donation forms through Online Giving. It doesn't make sense that it's all or nothing. People who donation should be able to elect to include their address or not.

    Please add the ability for organizations to make the donor address a required field on Optimized Donation Forms in Blackbaud. Currently, the address field is optional, which makes it difficult to ensure complete donor records for acknowledgments, receipting, and data integrity.

    Having an option to require the address would:

    • Improve donor record accuracy in Raiser's Edge NXT

    • Support consistent mail acknowledgment processes

    • Help standardize address data when paired with autofill/suggestion tools (such as Google Address Autofill)

    This enhancement would give agencies more control over data quality while maintaining a seamless donor experience.

    Why it matters:
    Complete and standardized donor data is essential for accurate receipting, stewardship, and reporting—this small feature would make a big difference for development teams.
