If I run a query that does not have anything selected for output, the number of records shown in the Records column in the main Query page listing, shows as 1, even if the query results are more than that. When building mailing lists, I frequently don't have a need for output, but seeing the 1 in the Records column makes me second guess my query. It should show the number of records that meet query criteria regardless of what output is selected.
Database view queries show this output, and it is a helpful function for me, as I typically run mulitple queries and then use the information in the query grid to update multiple fields in my report at the same time rather than updating them one at a time as the query is manually run.
