We are not integrated with any financial system. I rely on the GL post date for many weekly and monthly reports, as many reports depend on either the gift date or the GL post date. We are old school, and the gift date reflects the date the gift was received (wires/credit cards/etc.) or the postmark date if it came through USPS. Regardless, I need this for sorting through what needs to be acknowledged before I run acknowledgments and for all the reporting functions. Also, if this is never going to happen, it would be good to know.
