Export spilt gifts to multiple rows
As far as I know, there is currently no good way to export gift records in a way that reflects the gift splits in Raiser's Edge. I have found it surprisingly hard to export data in a way that allows me to answer fairly basic questions like "How much have we raised towards this Campaign, broken down by Appeals, further broken down by Packages (where some gifts were not coded to a Package)?"
I envision this working similar to the feature that allows you to export both hard and soft credit recipients of a gift to different rows in a CSV, with a flag that indicates which is which. Each gift split is exported to a different row with the corresponding Campaign, Appeal, Package, Fund, and Amount data. This means that split gifts are exported to more than one row.

Yes, I want to be able to export split gifts only to certain funds. The list of funds it too long to select one by one in the fund list. Why can't I select funds based on a fund query?
And then have each gift to a different fund export on a different line with the correct amount to that fund.
This has required hours of manual clean up on monthly reports.
Agreed! Example: So if you run a query for all gifts in this fiscal year and it lists a single say, $30K gift 3 times even though it was split over 3 separate pledges to 3 separate funds. It should show as 3 $10K gifts. Otherwise the math isn't mathing. It looks like you have $60K more than you do.
