Create Batch Query automatically when approving batch

We need to have a batch query automatically generated when batches are approved, which can then be used for acknowledgement letters, reports, etc.

We have used this for many years for acknowledgments, reports etc and now to have to manually build that query is irritating. When will TPTB realize that if it exists in DBV, it needs to exist in WV?

The omission of this feature in webview is one of the sole reasons we have not yet moved over to gift batch entry in webview. It is a crucial part of our gift entry process since our Finance department does not have Financial Edge. They rely on the static batch query data for depositing.

Yes, this is vital!! All the reasons Tatyana Leifman mentioned. Having this auto created is very important!

Yes! This is a vital feature. These output queries are used in numerous situations on a daily basis whether to create acknowledgments, global changes/updates on gifts entered in batch (for ex. originally wrong date or appeal code were applied) or for posting or for reviewing gifts for data integrity. Yes, I can create a query with the batch number but having the output query automatically created speeds up the process and insures no mistakes are made in locating the gifts.

This feature is very helpful in DB view, would be wonderful to have in web view as well.

Please add this. Even though in dbv you can view the batches from wbv, the list is almost useless. It does not create a query for wbv batch which it needed to print receipts, or run a Batch Report. This causes us to manually create a query for each batch before we can do anything else.
