PROBLEMS:

Attachments are all over the place within the system and Attachment Tag Table is not like other Tables from an Admin standpoint.

ASKS:

Provide an easier source for end users to manually find an attachment on a Constituent record regardless of layer/location. Additionally add to query options to enhance global review and work with attachments.

Attachment Tags Table should be consistent with other Tables - Not allow user created table entries via general input AND allow "Inactive" of table items.

BACKGROUND:

We understand and appreciate all the traction and work on the webview end of RE. Currently there are many levels of Attachments .... Constituent level, Gifts, Funds, Actions, Opportunities, others? Yet there is not one place to manage or see all attachments relative to a Constitute record/layers.

If I am looking for where an attachment might be, especially if misplaced, I have to query on all those levels to find it, which are all different query "types". Query abilities and criteria options of attachments need enhancements to function as needed.

Table - need to be able to mark Attachment Tags table entries "inactive" so exiting ones can remain for review and possible cleanup yet while preventing users from the ability to attach that Tag to additional attachments. Additionally users should be prevented from selecting or creating completely new Attachment Tags which result in unapproved Attachment Tag labels being added to the existing table. This does not allow the DB management team to maintain structure and standards for the use/application of Attachment Tags within the database.
