It would be extremely helpful if the Merge Records interface in NXT included icons or visual indicators showing whether key fields exist in the source and/or target record — especially for gifts, actions, events, notes, and opportunities.

Right now, we have to click into each section manually to check if data exists in either record, which is incredibly time-consuming, especially for records with a long activity history. At-a-glance icons would make it much easier to assess what’s at stake in a merge and ensure no key data is missed.

• Saves significant time during record cleanup

• Reduces risk of data loss during merges

• Improves user confidence and decision-making
