When we process aggregate gifts from platforms like Benevity, we enter the total amount as a hard credit to Benevity and apply splits with soft credits to individual donors.

In NXT:

• The "Most Recent Gift" view displays the correct individual split amount.

• But in "Gifts for [Constituent]" and in exports, it shows the full Benevity gift amount, not the donor’s split.

The Soft Credit column is not a solution. It brings in text and numbers for all soft credits in the batch, including gifts not associated with the donor.

Impact:

• Donor profiles show inflated gift amounts

• Exported reports are inaccurate for stewardship and tracking

• Manual workarounds are required

• Risk of donor confusion in acknowledgments
