At my organization we are working on creating dynamic reports with rolling dates. Particularly looking at revenue information over a rolling 12 month period. There are options in the date range dropdown of Last Calendar Year, This Calendar Year, YTD, Fiscal Year.. but there is no way to specify that the Query should pull data based on less than or equal to 12 months or something like that. This would be very helpful.
Yes!!! This needs more votes.
This is the biggest thing I miss from my days using Salesforce. I'm pretty sure I could pick the criteria "In the last n days/months/years" and specify n.
If we could decide to include or exclude the current day/month/year, like you can in PowerBI when using relative date criteria it would be amazing.
We are manually edit dates in queries on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Other times, to avoid manual edits, we use date ranges that grow and shrink like "Greater than or equal to Last Quarter" which might be a period of 3 - 6 months depending on where we are in the quarter so this is not ideal.
Yes, need to be able to query/list based on, eg the last 30 days from today, not last month which could be either 1 day ago or 25 days ago. Rolling "specific" dates for queries and lists please! :)
This would be a game changer for us also! Blackbaud Direct Marketing used to have this and I am sure Blackbaud CRM will also. Makes sense for this to be available in RENXT also.
YES!!!!!
This would be a game-changer. My org uses queries for email lists that need to be updated monthly with recent giving information in a certain time frame (usually the last 12 months.) Which means every date range on every set of criteria and every giving total in the export, needs to be updated every time the query is run. A rolling date range option would change this whole reporting process to a "set it and forget it" kind of operation!
