We get employment information from LiveAlumni for our Alumni. The data for this is all over the place, with many company name overs the character limit. We want to enter what the alum has put on their record in LinkedIn as it is and not have to spend the time updating several times a year the same information when we get data from LiveAlumni to put in our system. This will also help to ensure that we are inputting the same org name so that a new relationship is not created because abbreviated the company name differently than we did last time. This is so critical to help w/ processes. Character limits need to be increased for this field and several others.
