We also have several constituent codes that could indicate why the person donated (Alumni, Parents of Student, or Employee in addition to some others). A person can have Alumni as their constituent code because for us that is the primary one we want. However, the person may not have donated for a particular appeal just because they are an alumni. We actually do not do a lot of appeals directly to our alumni at this time.
And yes, we also have gone into form setting and set the constituency code. However, we have done this to indicate our preference for event registrations. It (last I had looked at it) seemed that we could only have one there. We would like it to be a different one for donations.

Also, I misread the first question. Yes, we have our online forms edited to list a standard constituency code. However, not all donors are the same constituency code, which is why we'd like the option to edit constituency codes upon batch approval so they are correct upfront

No, I am unaware of this. Would this solve the issue? Can you share best resources for this if so?

2. Are you wanting to review this in the Online Data Review or in gift batch? We approve "Gift batches" online under "Gifts-> 'Gift Batch Entry". I'm not sure if this is what you are referring to as "Online Data Review". We don't review batches in database view, especially as things continue to transition to webview in 2025.

As stated, the 'primary' code from the constituent is writing to the gift records. We however would like the ability to review/edit this information to a different code present on the constituent.

In our system we track parish(s) the individual is registered with, and some donors will visit contribute to other parishes - and we'd like to be able to change the 'gift constituency code' to match the parish visiting.

This also could apply to schools managing alumni, parent, trustee records and the donor may have multiple constituency codes on the constituent record - so ability to update the gift constituency before approving would be great.

It can default to the primary code present like it currently does - but ability to review/change if needed. In database view this is easily done by including the gift constituency code in batch. So would like ability to do this with NXT donations awaiting approval.
