Web View: Link a Tribute when adding a New Gift in one complete data entry transaction.
This does not seem to have been fully addressed in the Tribute release of 2024 that was noted in RENXT idea 2746.
Currently in Web View (Feb 2025), I am not finding a way to add a new gift and link that gift to a tribute in one transaction.
In order to link a new gift to a tribute I am having to enter the new gift first. Then once the gift is entered, go to and open the Giving History tile, find the gift I just entered, then go to and open the Tribute tile, and then click on Add a Tribute.
Having to perform so many steps to link a new gift to a tribute highly increases the chance for failure of remembering to actually link the gift. Having gifts meant as tributes not linked will cause many issues and much heartache. Issues internally with gathering the proper data. Heartache for the donors and honorees /next-of-kin as they are saddened not to have received full notification of all gifts given.

When will tribute info be added as a column under the working with gifts page? On database view its easy to see what gifts are linked to a tribute, but not yet the case in webview.
Is there a summary of everything that is not moving to web view as it is impacting our CRM choice. We are forced to work in two views with different data and the team is frustrated.
With all due respect, would you all please consider rethinking the "keeping it slim" concept for data team functions? This reflects a fundamental minsunderstanding of what we do and what our needs are. We need to be able to do a complete task, in one place, with as little clicking as possible, so we can get through large amounts of data efficiently. We need functional, not pretty. Not slim.
We will be bringing the ability to add a tribute link to the gift in the new batch experience, all in one line. For the current single add gift form, we have no plans to add all the functionality there. That form is going to remain slim and when you click save, you end up on the gift record to make any other links or additions you need.
I have to say this is so clunky. I am surprised by the level of work required. It would be nice if the Fund gift was automatically link to the tribute.

According to your own text on total web solution (cut and pasted below), you say that linking tributes while adding a gift is not moving to web view.
I am asking you, pleading with you, to please reconsider this. The goal should be fewer steps and less opportunity for error.
