Please give us more control over how addresses are updated. It is better to have data go in correctly in the first place rather than cleaning it up after the fact. If a current type of address is "home" then we should be able to mark the now old address as "former home" as per each institution's processes. If the current address is "PO Box", the new address may not be a PO Box address. Then the old address could be set to "former PO Box Home" as per each institution's processes.
It really is not beneficial to have automated processes going when the data is not going in correctly.

We need more control of how addresses go into our system. Having a "blanket" former type of address does not work for us and our processes. Having the "new" address use the same type as the previous address does not work either.
