We run 25 queues on a regular basis, to refresh queries, export queries, exports, and reports, and help automate global changes. Along with another 25 or so queues that we run on a less regular basis. This saves us countless hours and will be critical if we are to fully transition to webview.
I have literally hundreds of queries in queue grouped by topic to audit items in the database daily, weekly and monthly. Using queue to refresh these queries means a couple of clicks to refresh an entire group, then typically I only need review those with results. Having to open and refresh every single query will make tasks that currently take minutes, turn into hours. No Queue is horrifying. It is one of the reasons that, despite being the data manager, I only use web view sporadically because it is so inefficient.
This is a critical piece of business for all non-profits, especially for compliance and governance across lines of services, reporting, and strategic financing. This must be a part of the system going forward.
I also want to ensure Global Change, Global Add, and Global Delete are coming with RE in the transition to NXT.
It would be a huge timesaver to have the ability to schedule queries!
