In database view, we can optionally add what has been referred to for years the sort key to an organizational record. You add the sort key before the word in the org name you want to have it sorted by in the place of the space. So Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation would actually have the organizational name of "Bill & Melinda\Gates Foundation" as the org name so that when reports are run this particular record appears under the "Gs" not "Bs". As reports start to become available - or pushed out - to NXT the ability to manage this will be very important. And currently when you review the same constituent in NXT who has the sort key present - you don't see it in NXT. Please see attachment.
