Query in database view allows you to quickly re-run results by clicking the "run" button. This is a feature that is also needed in web view. I often use query results to work through a list of changes, and the "run" button allows me to see what is left undone.
The Refresh/Results buttons do not work in web view the way they work in dbv. In dbv view, clicking on the refresh records button truly refreshes the results--I constantly see it when working with merged queries where I update a criteria on one of the queries and the refresh returns new record count. In WV, hitting Results & Refresh returns the exact same number of records as the last time the query was run. ONLY when hitting the Save & Close button is a new record number generated and that shows in the bottom right corner in a pop-up. The first time I encountered that, I missed the pop-up as I have not been trained to look at the bottom right corner of my screen for such information. Now I just find it annoying that I need to save & close the merged query just to get updated results and hope the pop-up doesn't disappear before I note the results (which it will if I click on anything else on the screen by mistake). This process is confusing and costs way too much time from how things run in dbv.
This is already possible through the Refresh button at the top of the Results. Is there something that Run would achieve that Refresh doesn't?
