Adding the RE/FE function for Financial Edge Transaction Code for Expenses into the RE/FENXT environments
Using this tool to track specific gifts to be used for specific expenses based on the gift appeal allowed finance to ensure it was properly expensed.
This was something that was available in the RE/FE integrated environment and is sadly not in the NXT integrated environment.

How is this not available yet? This is a critical piece of linking for FE and RE. The answer in this article states to "go to database view"- which will not be available as of Sept 2027 (article: https://kb.blackbaud.com/knowledgebase/articles/Article/204736). At the same time, we're being told that appeals are fully built out in webview. This is not fully built out if we have to go back to database view to accomplish this function.
