Ability to Turn Off "recurring" gifts on Optimized Form

I would like to be able to turn the "recurring gift" option on and off when using the "optimized" form. I can see the value of "recurring" for the "standard" form. But I am using the "optimized" form for project based, limited time fundraising. So I would like to be able to just have the option to have only "one-time" gifts on this form.

    Please enable The ability to remove monthly- it makes the optimized form much more flexible of a tool for special events based fundraising and would allow for wider adoption.

    Please revive this issue! Sometimes you just do NOT want to upsell folks on a monthly gift. The ability to remove it makes the optimized form much more flexible of a tool for special events based fundraising and would allow for wider adoption. Let us choose the options we want! Please!

    well, this idea is a year and a half old, but we just bumped up against it for the first time. Like the post says, using optimized for a special limited fundraiser - we really don't want recurring gifts.
