Optimized Donor Form ask amount improvements

  1. We would like to set our own giving levels for the Optimized Forms. (Not the automated range.)

  2. We would also like to set the number of giving levels on the Optimized Forms. (i.e. we offer a "Buy A Brick" campaign and there are only two sizes.)

  3. We would also like to have an Optimized Form that allows for the donor to set the donation amount. (No range at all.)

If any of these happen, we would use the Optimized Form. Until this happens, we will likely only use the Standard forms.

Agree to all of this - also, we should be able to turn Intelligent Ask off for optimized donation forms. For instance, my org wants to use an optimized form as a "tip jar" at events, so we want the ask amounts to be low. Even when I set a max ask amount of $25, when I go to the live form it comes back with a range of $40-$125, when for this event, we typically get "tips" ranging from $10-$15. Having intelligent ask actually HURTS our ability to use the form, and standardized forms are so much clunkier on mobile. Basically, optimized forms are great for mobile except they're mostly unusable because of the lack of ability to actually customize them to our orgs needs.

We would also like this; we are trying to use the optimized form for specific campaigns due to it's straightforward design and use of graphics, however, those campaigns often have specific giving levels (i.e. Booster Club) so it would be very helpful to either be able to turn the Intelligent Ask off and/or be able to customize. Having the Intelligent Ask auto-populate an amount that doesn't correspond to any of the tier levels is very confusing.

Our organization would also like this feature. I know its been a while but any updates on this?

I just created an optimized form. It is different from the standard forms. I am very disappointed that I cannot see an ask ladder w/ the amounts I set (low and high value). I can for the recurring gift, but not for a one time gift. We are not using intelligent ask on the standard forms for a reason, and this feels like it is the "default". We sending appeals to certain audiences, they are turned by high ask amounts. We need to be able to set our own ask amounts and the number of different ask values..
We also need an option for the donor to put in an amount they want to pay for either th one-time or the recurring gift options.

Exactly. We can't use it until we have the option to set the donation amounts. And the weird amount the algorithm chooses is not helpful. We tried it with a small test run and got nothing but complaints.

Thanks for your feedback! We are currently in design on adding the ability for custom gift amounts for optimized form in 2025.

We are also planning some A/B testing around the custom/donor types in their custom amount. After that testing we potentially may offer some more configuration in this area.
