With the addition of declining RSVPs, we should be able to create a second email response that gets sent to those who decline. As of right now, everyone gets the same email regardless of how they RSVP.
Please add this capacity! Our constituents are confused. At the same time, it is helpful to know that they have declined. But we do NOT want to send them a "we can't wait to see you there!" message.
I came on here to write the exact same thing. It's leading to confusion (someone who declined gets a "thank you for registering" email) and additional emailing (since those people will then email to say "...what?").
This shouldn't be a difficult thing to implement, please and thank you!
We are just starting to utilize RENXT event registration forms and ran into this exact issue.
Here is hoping that Blackbaud will add the option to send a different email response to those who register versus those who decline the RSVP. Otherwise, the decline RSVP feature can't be utilized without making the single email confirmation extremely confusing.
