Our organization provides our services specifically to youth aged 16-30, we we need to easily be able to identify who is inside and outside of that age range.

We are able to ask someone who registers for one of our programs/events their age range using a Custom Attribute via our Online Express registration forms. However, those responses only live as static data on the person's Event Participation Record, not on their high-level Constituent Record.

Being able to add the Raiser's Edge system-wide 'Date of birth' data field to registration forms would allow us to see the response right on the person's Constituent Record, and would mean the person's age would continue to be updated and accurate over time by the system itself.

It would also mean we could get the Date of birth data from our participants in real time as they register, and the backend of the system would update the info accordingly. If we asked for DOB as a Custom Attribute field on a registration form, we would need to navigate to the person's Constituent Record and manually update that field each time someone filled out a registration form.
