One of our fundraisers inquired about this - she didn't understand why a "required field" would already have a pre-selected/default "Meeting". Although I acknowledge there is always "teachable moments" and reminders to repeat offenders, since there is no prompting, we have users creating actions that are not meetings! It would definitely be very helpful from a data accuracy perspective if you are required to choose a category for this required field.
