This is so important for many organizations, some of which cannot move to grid batch in web view until it is available due to the large volume of direct mail gifts they receive. Having the ability to scan a barcode on a gift remit slip streamlines the gift entry process when there is large volume direct mail gifts to enter into RE. Please add the ability to scan barcodes to add gifts in NXT before the 9/15/27 database view sunsetting. Otherwise, many organizations will be stuck manually entering hundreds (sometimes thousands) of direct mail gifts.
This is especially important for organizations with a large volume of direct mail gifts such as the Food Bank of the Southern Tier. Please don't overlook this functionality. It would require hundreds of more man hours to have to enter everything manually. We are not able to move to grid batch in web view until this functionality has been enabled.

Now Grid View has been rolled out we would like to use webview for gift entry but lack of barcode scanning is a major barrier. Please add barcodes to web veiw batches.
