Address on NXT Donor Forms

Would like the option to have two lines on NXT donor forms - Address Line 1 and Address Line 2, with Address Line 2 being an optional field. This would allow clearer expectations to the donor that we want them include their apartment/unit/suite number when entering their info on the form. We have received a few returned mail pieces from first-time donors that gave through an NXT donor form because they live in an apartment and didn't think to put their apartment number. I think having Address Line 2 would prompt them to do that as opposed to just one big address box.

    I think a big part of the problem is that the address that is suggested when they start typing their address doesn't include the apartment number and because it is being offered it is very misleading. It does mean that I have to verify every address that comes in through the donation and event registration forms. I have them all come in with the address type of RE_Added_Address and make sure it isn't made primary until I have had a chance to review. Thanks for starting this idea.

    I agree with this - I'm based in NYC too and the majority of us live in apartments!

    Same problem here! We get a lot of returned mail for this reason which is unfortunate because this is where we get a lot of our addresses from. Sometimes it's not possible to find their apartment number and we end up not being able to mail to them even though the address is technically still good.
