In response to some comments about this being available, I am currently (Aug 2026) able to nest like this:

Criteria

AND (criteria

OR Criteria

OR (Criteria

AND Criteria)

or Criteria)

But I am NOT able to nest like this:

Criteria

AND (Criteria

OR Criteria

OR (Criteria

AND Criteria))

If I'm just misunderstanding how to do this, someone please point me in the right direction! But it looks like I can't have two parentheses on one line. This is somewhat limiting.

Agree! This would make query functionality so much more robust! It would save us creating multiple queries and merging them together, reducing confusion and minimizing likelihood of errors.

Nested parentheses would be extremely valuable. I regularly need to merge 3 or more queries to create mailing lists. Nested parentheses would make this so much easier and less stressful!

This appears to be available. I tested it in a constituent query. I am in the US.

Someone mentioned this is in RENXT now, but that doesn't seem to be the case for me in the US. Anyone else able to use nested parentheses in web view?

Also agree this is necessary. They say to use merges but that locks you into static results. I assumed not having nested paren was an oversight, not something intentional

This was one of the best "differences" for queries in RENXT

Yes. Adding this feature would be incredible. It would also simplify query building as we would not have to resort to complex workarounds or numerous merges.

It would be SO useful to be able to use nesting parans in query! This would make the query tool so much more powerful and enable us to do even more complex queries. This is one of those features that I've always wanted in RE query and I'd love it if this would be considered after all the current functionality is fully realized in webview. It would be a huge win!
