Mandate Renewal Conversation instead of Automatic

Any renewal notice should come with an invitation to speak with your BB representative, whomever that may be.


At the time of our renewal, a person with whom we have never had any contact reached out via an email that looked like a marketing email to inform us of an increase to pricing. After speaking with someone whom we thought was our rep, we told them we did not want to move forward with that product. He did not communicate that to anyone at the company or communicate to us that it had to be "in writing." He neglected to mention he was no longer in charge of our account! We received an invoice for the product anyway and did not pay it. After much back in forth disputing the invoice, we have reached the least offending outcome to continue using our solutions with BB. This could all have been avoided if their email was written to look like the email in their knowledgebase article describing the situation. I have made a note in the article and following the recommendation posting it to Idea Bank for others to review.
