There are instances where the duplicate merge tool is useful for moving data from one record to another, but not all data is appropriate to be moved (e.g., mergers & acquisitions). It would be very useful if we had the ability to "move" particular data points (like a note or an attribute) without having to select to move ALL notes or ALL attributes. The only other way to move these is by manually recreating the data on the second record, which destroys the Properties info (audit trail).
