Global Add Attributes for Other Record Types

Currently, the Global Add tool is only able to add Constituent Attributes to existing Constituent Records. It would be incredibly useful to be able to use this tool to add other types of attributes to other record types - for example, adding Action Attributes to existing Action records, or Gift Attributes to Gift records. As someone who isn't comfortable yet doing Imports, the Global Add functionality is a lot more user-friendly, quick and easy to use for minor database updates.

    Gift attributes global add would be extremely useful. We regularly need to update gift attribute and since NXT batch can not yet use templates or default values for gift custom fields, this is an extremely tedious one-by-one update to incoming donations in batch. Often with just a placeholder text so that the Global Change can be used. The gift attribute import file seems extremely hazardous to use without additional fields in the import file to QA/QC that the correct gifts are being updated, so personally don't like using it because it takes so much double checking and cross-referencing to safely accomplish. A Global Add using a gift query for selected records would be much more efficient.
