I agree - manually changing each and every gift's sub-type, acknowledgment status and attributes is so time consuming. Web View is supposed to be more effiencent!

We simply do not have the time as a small charity to be entering gifts in such a time consuming manner.

I agree. We use many gift attributes which are a pain to enter individually for each gift in a Web View batch.

I was thinking about this this morning as I have a batch with a few checks that I'll be processing for today, and I opened up database view simply because I can do defaults. Even doing a super small batch like this, it's still my preference because of those default options. There is just so much we put on a gift record in batch that it cuts down time entering gifts quite a lot!
