Add a feature to be notified when a gift needs approval

Currently, there is no way to receive a notification when there is a gift waiting to be approved under the Fundraising > gift management tab. It would be wonderful to receive an email notification when something is waiting to be approved so the donor's credit card charge goes through in a timely manner.

    I came to the Idea bank today specifically to post this idea and came across this idea already posted. We are a smaller organization that doesn't receive online gifts every day, so our gift processing employee (who has other weekly responsibilities) may not realize that there is a gift batch transaction such as automated EFTs that is waiting to be processed. It would be extremely helpful if an automated email notification could be generated to alert users that there are gifts waiting to be processed.

    This would really help get those gifts posted ASAP. Just like there is a notification when I approve those gifts, it would be nice to get it on the incoming gifts side.
