Add Appeal Description to the gift fields in portal
Appeal Description is the MAIN identifier of gift designation for our donors. For instance, it would differentiate between a gift for Hurricane Ian response vs a gift for Hurricane Fiona response.
Agreed on this need. Even if it was limited to an EITHER/OR toggle for our organization that allows choosing between showing fund OR showing appeal. Appeal is more relatable to donors than the internal code/descriptions that we need on fund for our finance office. We'd prefer this in portal, on giving statements, and even on the Giving panel on the constituent record because even our fundraisers learn more from seeing "Appeal" than they do from fund.
