Action types are difficult to name in such a way that all users intuitively understand how to use them. DB admins can provide guides and training but inevitably many users will still choose incorrectly. It would help if there was an action type descriptor field which would appear along with the type code whenever the action type list is accessed. Admins could use the descriptor to remind users of the correct way to select a type every time they create or edit an action. For example, a descriptor for a type code of "Qualification" could say something like "Determination of interest and capacity".
