Update soft credit along with gift when an automated recurring gift is retried after a decline

When an automated gift has been declined we have the ability to do a quick retry once we get updated CC info. When the retry goes through it automatically changes the gift amount from $0.00 to the approved gift amount. However, it does not update the soft credit amount. That stays at $0.00. The soft credit amount should also be updated automatically to avoid inaccurate information.

    I want to add to this because I found out recently that web view recurring gifts will automatically terminate after six months of $0 gifts. That is too long. Either reduce it to two or three months, or allow organizations to set how many months or how many consecutive failures they want before the gift is terminated that fit their organization's best business practices.


    Additionally, if the web view recurring gift has had too many failures and stops, the status should be changed to Terminated. As I understand it, the attempts to process will stop, but the gift will still appear as Active. This makes it difficult to identify which recurring gifts have stopped so we can do follow up.
