The issue occurs when you add a new constituent in RE: NXT and leave the nickname field blank. And/or deleting a nickname from a record in NXT. Then if you run a query (DB view) of constituents who has "nickname equals not blank", or a query that has "nickname equals blank," they will appear on both. So the idea is to change how NXT stores that blank value or how the query determines that value. The reason that this may be an issue is if you segment based on nicknames. We do this for emailing records in NXT. See the attachment for the criteria and result of a query that shouldn't work.
