in any of the sections where there is a "top funds" tile, the top funds are not actually listed out on the left. The bars are correctly identifying the top funds - when you hover over the bar it shows the name of the fund. However, our leadership team looks at the chart and scans the fund descriptions on the left of the graph, which is not accurate. This is deceiving and confusing for our management team and our Officers. A Blackbaud staffer confirmed that in order to fit a large number of funds, the metric may start to omit descriptions — but not the funds themselves, based on their bars in the chart — for legibility.
I'm posting an idea that there be a re-tooling or additional functionality so that the top funds in the chart show up both in the bar design and the description wording to the left of the chart. We use this Analyze tile to generate reporting to our board and leadership team, and currently, this isn't a tile we can use.
A Blackbaud community member, Jen Claudy, suggested this solution: With a Tile named "Top Funds", I would expect it to show the top X number of funds. No need to omit any labels, as the Tile is designed to show X number of funds, and shows X number of funds. Maybe with a [See All] link that goes to a full page report showing all Funds (with filters, if they're helpful).
Same behavior occurs in campaign reporting too. Seems like more space for the graph + labels should be consistently applied in each panel/graph area.
