Default the Gift Subtype on NXT Donation Forms
We use gift subtype to determine which "organization" the donation is going to. One Gift Subtype is our foundation and the other is our agency that provides funding to specific programs. It would be nice to have this feature automatically set up so that clean up doesn't need to be done post committing.

We've shipped a change to donation forms that allow you to set the gift subtype as a "hidden field" on any Standard or Optimized Donation Form. When you've set a gift subtype on your donation form, that gift subtype will be pre-populated for that gift record in batch.

We use gift subtype to differentiate between gifts sent directly to the diocese versus those processed at the parish level and then sent to us. This information is helpful when reports are sent to parishes so that they can see which gifts they may not have a record for because they were sent directly to the diocesan office.
Many reports are based on the subtype so this field becomes very important for it to be updated
Gift subtype is needed by us to differentiate between different types of income. Without this we cannot use the Gift Lists to see our donations. Having this automatically be added (once mapped on the donation form) would be very helpful to us.
Gift subtype is also a required field on gifts for our organization. It is an inconvenience to have to manually add this information rather than being able to code it directly to the donation form.
We use this field in our reporting to designate how many gifts came in from web forms. Not having to manually assign this field for every gift would be really helpful.
