It's pretty standard industry practice for email marketing to regularly clean your list based on who has and has not been opening your emails (helps keep emails from being marked as spam/promotions/etc. by major email providers like GMail). It's impossible to do this without being able to query on people's engagement with marketing emails. Unfortunately, this means that we are continuing to send emails to people who never open them and may no longer be interested in our work.
This is also needed for other reasons such as participating in the CASE Global Alumni Engagement Metrics (AEM) Survey. I'm trying to query/count unique individuals who have clicked through any email links in FY21. This information is kept per email in the sent emails section, and is even stamped on individual constituent records, but I have no way to query this information. The only way I can accomplish this is to filter the sent email list for the FY, then click the number of clicks per message and attempt to create a list that gets saved as a static query that I will attempt to combine into a query list in RE db view. This is a PAINFULLY TEDIOUS process to capture the information from 82 emails sent through NXT last year.
