Report to show true campaign pledge balance based on how split payments are entered.

Our payments are not always applied to a pledge in the same split as the original pledge. Pledge Status reports only reflect the balance based on the original pledge split and not how we internally have posted the payment to the pledge. Because we have separate GL accounts based on Campaign, they do not match the Pledge Status Report.

    In RE7 the pledge status and activity reports do not reliably calculate correct balances for pledges with splits. As Standard reports are built for NXT, please correct this in the NXT versions of these reports.

    We had the same issue. As a work-around, if a donor increases the pledge, we no longer add to the original pledge but create a new pledge for the increased amount. Payments now post to the correct Campaign/Fund/Appeal. The other work-around is to change the split manually with every payment but since we have over 300 pledges and nearly half pay monthly--that option is too time consuming.
