This would be extremely helpful. There needs to be an IN SYSTEM alert that a new gift is waiting for review or processing - no matter if the gifts is recurring, pledge, one-time gift/registration. If it is sitting in Batch waiting for review or processing, we need an alert.

How about a NEW ALERT ICON of a GIFT BOX next to the Bell Alert? This new alert would show a tally of the number of gifts that need reviewed or processed.

When someone clicks on Gift alert icon, it will take them to the 'Gifts > Overview' section where they can review and process the gift. However, the alert tally would NOT go away until the gifts are processed, INSTEAD, as the gifts are processed the tally alert number would decrease. 😊
