To manually process failed recurring gifts (due to soft rejects) the correct security code is required. Recurring gifts often do not require a security code originally, or they have been amended with new credit card numbers over time. Those new credit cards have different security codes, but there is no way to update them which makes the manual process fail. Allowing clients to amend the security code will allow this manual processing option to be effective and useful. Otherwise the manual processing will not be usable in many cases.
