I just contacted support about this very issue and they're still giving the same work-around. This is NOT a feature, it's a bug and it's been a problem since 2021 at least.

The "workaround option" promoted by Blackbaud is: "You can move gifts from one constituent to another. For example, you can create a new constituent titled "Deleted Gifts" and move it to that record. You can choose to keep that record for future gifts you don't want on constituent records, or you can delete the constituent record titled "Deleted Gifts," which will delete any gift records it has under its name."

I agree with Leslie, I need to delete rather than commit a batch with £0 value. People will get confused.

Why won't they approve a delete? It messes with workflow and allows erroneous transactions to sit in your database and on your gift management screen forever. Please add a delete button!!

I'm with Leslie, I need that delete button on unapproved batches so I don't commit unsuccessful gifts and trigger other workflows. #deleteisourfriend :)
    thank you!!

How about the option to delete regardless of status. I'd like to be able to delete an unapproved NXT batch that contains only one gift that was an unsuccessful recurring transaction due to credit card issues.
