If you are working in db view and want to enter a date for this month, you can just key in the digit(s) for the date. Ex. key in "5" and it will auto fill with 4/5/2021. "515" will auto fill as 5/15/2021.

In web view, if field has current date, entering “5” will auto fill a date of “5/1/2021” and entering “515” will auto fill as “5/15/2021”.

For blank date fields seems like full date has to be entered “5/15/21” or it errors.
