We should be able to store the credit card tokenization in the main Constituent in the RE NXT as well, just like how it did in RE 7.9 so we can use it for multi-purposes. The less that a donor have to provide a credit card over the phone, the less chance of security breach as well. Every other CRMs have this ability, so it wouldn't make sense for RE NXT not offering this function.
