We just migrated to RE:NXT and unfortunately my favorite RE Dashboard is not available in NXT.  The dashboards available are really great for counting money and results for campaigns, however fundraising is more than counting dollars and gifts.  The RE Donor Giving Analysis is my favorite tool because it shows you the big picture pattern of what donors are doing:  increasing or decreasing their gifts, new gifts, "recovered" gifts in addition to the number of gifts and total dollars.  It is useful for donor retention tracking, which is really important because it costs much less to keep donors than it does to recruit new ones, so your actual growth in giving picture is truer when you consider retained vs. new donors. 

I am suggesting that the tech team consider adding the Donor Giving Analysis to the NXT dashboard options, or if not that particular one, something that would serve the same purpose: tracking donor retention. Several years ago, AFP and (I believe) Blackbaud created a G.I.G. template in Excel for just this purpose.  I know a few development directors who use it, but the data entry into the template is pretty cumbersome.  That's why I chose the Donor Giving Analysis to give me similar information. How cool would it be for NXT to do G.I.G. calculations for us in a Dashboard!  Thank you.
