I am very surprised this doesn't have more votes. There are lists for all records except funds!
My organization tries to search for funds to describe scholarship use to prospects - and I have to go through gift lists to search for other donors to the fund in question, and then select the fund to open the fund record. For gift officers - this is an extreme workaround that they will not do. (Talk about "too many clicks!) This is NOT helpful for our transition from paper files to digital, which are stored on the funds and are now difficult to access. It is easier to access our share drive than the funds themselves. (Shadow databases!) I use database view to provide all fund information to my team, even though the funds within NXT have all the information needed, it just takes way too long to get there.
This is very problematic because that means you have to already know of a constituent who has made a gift to a specific fund to be able to locate the fund record through a laborious process of navigating through other records. Our org has over 14,000 funds, and we need to be able to look them up on their own in the web view. We don't always know of a specific constituent who has given to that fund (some of our funds are over 200 years old). Honestly, that's often the piece of information we are trying to find (who has given to this fund and when). Our field staff almost solely use the web view now, and that means they are unable to access key information that they need.
