It is confusing to our Development Officers to see "Registered for event" tags on constituents in their portfolios when those constituents have been invited and added to the event record but have not actually registered for the event. It would be helpful to add this tag only when the constituent is marked registered in the event.
Thanks for the update Samantha!
Hi all!
We've recently shipped a change where the tag for “Registered for event” will ONLY show when the participant’s status is “registered.” There is no longer a tag for the Invited Status.
I hope this helps clarify for your users!
Thanks,

It appears the functionality is that they have been invited, not registered. Kind of seems like whoever defined the tag wasn't aware of Blackbaud's own language in this space?
Surely this is as easy as changing the tag string to "Invited to event". - please!
Completely agree! It is so confusing to see a tag in NXT that someone has registered in NXT when I know they just told me in person that they couldn't attend....then to click further and see that in fact they were invited, not registered. Please prioritize this!
This is clearly a bug on NXT as there is no point of having this tag for people who are invited to events but never attend any
February 2018 and we are still waiting for this suggestion to become reality!
Great idea! Maybe it will be implemented in 2021 :) Seems ridiculous that we can't just open an event record in NXT and see ALL the details including participants (whether they are invitees or registered). Why have an event module if our Major Gift Officers can see it in NXT???
My VP emailed me about this again today. :(
The tag should be descriptive of what it actually means. If it says "registered for event" it should correlate with registration status. This is driving me bananas.
That's a great idea. This could possibly be merged with the "Ability to Edit Tags" item, which is apparently under consideration. We do the same thing sometimes - add a person as "invited" to an event record. We only do it for specific invitation-only events, but our development officers will definitely get confused.
