Ability to make global changes to Aliases

There is currently no option to globally remove or amend unique aliases. The global change function will only allow you to change a specific alias, rather than multiple, or delete the alias type (not the alias itself). Assigning an import ID to each alias to allow for changes, and then adding an option to the global delete menu would probably be the best way of doing this.

    The Alias field is becoming increasingly popular with integration partners so will become more important for future extensibility. I have always avoided using this field to store external IDs because of the inability to update it via global change, global delete, or import.

    It is critical that users be able to make their own updates to the Alias field for the future.

    The current capability for "deleting" mass aliases is pretty much useless. You end up with your data worse off than before you tried to "clean it up." Please add this full functionality!
