We recently begun to use imports for our appeals. Previously we created batches and keyed in the gifts. When posting from RE to FE the batches came in separately and matched up to the deposits that went to the bank. It was easy to reconcile the bank statement with the activity posted to FE from RE. What we are seeing in using imports (each import equals a deposit that went to the bank) is that even though we imported 5 deposits for the day it is being lumped into a total sum. When posting into FE we would not be able to easily reconcile to the bank statement since we can not see the individual deposits. Is there a way to make imports unique so deposits post separately and not one lump sum?
