For automated recurring gifts, create a thank you email that is sent when each recurring gift is charged
With automated recurring gifts, when each recurring gift is charged, we would like to automatically send an email to the donor that their gift was processed. (It is hard to believe that there is no way to do that. )
THIS IS A NEED. Having to send receipts manually through Gift Management > Gift Receipting for recurring gift payments is extremely time consuming. We have a lot of pre-existing recurring gifts. We recently started using another gift processor other than BBMS due to some limitations we had, and it automatically sends recurring gift payment email receipts. RENXT should be able to do the same.
I am also attempting to set up an automated work flow and am shocked that this is not possible. The options for defining gifts in the workflow process are so limited that I can't narrow the list down appropriately.
Yes!!! The workflow workaround is tedious and the list, email and workflow needs to be recreated every month. Sending an automatic email when a credit card is charged is essential to every credit card transaction. This should already be happening.
Agreed - this should be a no brainer to have subsequent emails automated!
