It would be nice if OLX could process direct debits immediately like it does credit cards. We find that donors are putting in the wrong routing/account numbers but we don't know until we process a batch, thus losing that donation. The likelihood of us reconnecting with that donor is time consuming and unlikely. If we do they question us because they are sent an email saying that a donation was made for x amount on x date. So we have to explain to them that we actually don't receive the money until we run a batch - in which we finally find out if it processed or not. It just doesn't seem like good business practice.
